Re: free books. I highly recommend StandardEbooks.org for an excellent source of free books— out of copyright, carefully proofread, and available in a variety of formats. And if you are getting ebooks, I also highly recommend Calibre-ebook.com to manage them. Calibre (also free) lets you edit metadata, change cover, convert from one format to another, and load books to your device.
